Epicured is a prepared-meal delivery company from Glen Cove, New York. It was co-founded in the mid-2010s (the site gives both 2015 and 2016) and describes itself as the first low-FODMAP, gluten-free meal service. Its menu is developed by its chefs together with dietitians, and it has worked with Mount Sinai Health System. In New York State it also provides nutrition services to eligible Medicaid members under a state program, which is separate from its regular online shop.
The menu runs to more than 50 items: entrées, soups, salads, smoothies, breakfast dishes such as buckwheat pancakes, wraps, sauces and dressings, and a few treats like chocolate chip cookies. Meals arrive chilled, ready to heat. You can order through multi-week programs, which bundle meals by phase and diet style, or add one-time items to a delivery. Epicured describes its food as low FODMAP and gluten free; it doesn't replace advice from your own doctor or dietitian.
Delivery covers the lower 48 states. A local courier serves the New York metro area, including parts of New Jersey and Connecticut, and UPS or FedEx handles everywhere else. Available delivery days depend on where you live, and the site's pages differ on which weekdays apply. Free shipping thresholds are offered in some states, so check the menu page for your address.
