RoverPass is a booking marketplace for RV parks and campgrounds. Travellers search by city or state, compare sites and book and pay online, then manage their reservation from their phone. Its listings are mostly in the United States, with parks in Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and parts of the UK listed too.
The company works on both sides of the trip. As well as the marketplace for campers, it sells the RoverPass Booking System, web-based reservation software that lets campground and RV park owners take bookings online without downloading anything or keeping a separate calendar. Owners can claim or create a listing for their park to start receiving reservations. Its founder describes the aim as building for campgrounds what Expedia did for hotels, since the industry is mostly small family businesses without shared booking technology.
Prices depend on the park, the type of site and your dates, so you'll see them once you search. Each campground sets its own rules, so read the cancellation terms on the listing before you pay. Travellers can sign up for emailed deals, and the site links to RV rentals and RV insurance through partners.
