Sebastian Cruz Couture began in 2013 with seven linen pocket square designs. Its About page says the idea came from a couple, an entrepreneur and a stylist, who planned their own wedding and couldn't find the accessories they wanted. The brand has since grown into a full menswear label for weddings, proms and black-tie events, and says it ships from its headquarters in Miami.
The store still sells a large range of pocket squares, many with its signature contrasting border, alongside silk neckties, self-tie and pre-tied bow ties, lapel pins and other accessories. Clothing includes dinner jackets in velvet, brocade and patterned fabrics, wedding jackets, trousers, dress shirts under the S by Sebastian name, and shoes. A section called The Vault carries limited and past-season pieces, and a current-offers page lists the brand's own promotions.
Shipping is free worldwide. Clothing is usually made and dispatched in about 8 to 12 business days, with transit adding a few more, so order well ahead of an event; rush options are available. Returns are tight: accessories and garments must be requested within 7 days of delivery, garments must be unworn with tags and pre-authorised, and custom pieces can usually only be exchanged with a restocking fee.
