About Arena Club
Arena Club is a US trading card platform co-founded in 2022 by entrepreneur Brian Lee and baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter. It is run by Arenaclub.com, Inc., based in Los Angeles, and keeps collectors' cards in an insured, climate-controlled vault in Oregon.
It does several things. Collectors can send in raw cards to be graded, with each card scanned and graded by people using computer-vision tools, given sub-grades and sealed in an Arena Club slab, then stored in the vault. Cards already graded by other firms can be vaulted too. The marketplace lets users buy, sell, trade and bid on vaulted cards across baseball, football, basketball, soccer, Pokémon, Star Wars and other trading card games, with a 10% fee for sellers. Its Slab Packs are digital packs priced in dollars that reveal a random physical graded card from a published list with stated odds; the card can be kept in the vault, shipped, resold or sold back to Arena Club within 24 hours.
It suits card collectors who want grading, storage and trading in one place. Users must be 18 or over, prices are in US dollars, and vaulted cards can be shipped out for a per-card fee plus shipping.
