Capri Watch is a family brand from the island of Capri in Italy, run by Asperula Stellina di Silvio Staiano SNC from a shop on Via Vittorio Emanuele, a short walk from the island's Piazzetta. The Staiano family has traded on Capri for generations, and in the 1990s Silvio Staiano turned the family shop toward his own designs and launched the Capri Watch line, which became known for bright, playful watches.
Watches are still the core of the range, with collections such as Rainbow, Eternity, Sub Capri, Glamour, Contemporary and Rossella MultiJoy for women and men, plus spare straps in leather, alligator and silicone. Listed prices run from about €100 for a Rainbow 38 to around €360 for an Eternity chronograph. There are also handbags and couture bags (the Rosetta Capri bag is €950), wallets and small leather goods, rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings, and a Capri Watch perfume.
It suits shoppers after a distinctive Italian watch or a gift with a holiday feel. The site is in Italian and prices are in euros, so your card will convert the charge. International standard shipping from Italy costs €15 plus 3% of the order value for insurance and takes about 5 business days, with an express option, and extra charges for perfume and bags. US buyers may owe import duties. Watches carry a 5-year warranty.
