Nick's Boots, run as Nicks Handmade Boots, has been making boots by hand in the Pacific Northwest since 1964. The workshop sits in Spokane Valley, Washington, and the company describes itself as American-owned and operated, with materials sourced in the US.
Each pair is built by skilled craftspeople from start to finish, and every style is designed around a particular kind of work, from heavy-duty jobs to everyday wear. Boots are made to order, so the site keeps a lead-times page showing how long current builds take, while ready-to-ship and new-in-stock pairs go out sooner. Belts and other leather goods are sold alongside the boots.
Shipping costs are worked out by weight and destination, and a single pair of boots usually costs $30 to $40 to ship within the US, arriving in about 4 to 6 business days once it leaves the shop. Standard returns are accepted within 30 days of shipment for boots in new condition, though factory seconds and boots with custom uppers are final sale. Orders still in production can be cancelled for a full refund.
