The New York CityPASS gets you into five of 10 top attractions for $149 per adult and $129 per child aged 6 to 17. CityPASS puts the regular combined price at $307.04 for an adult, so it says you can save up to 51%.

The 10 attractions to choose from
You pick five of these, as listed by CityPASS on October 26, 2026:
- Empire State Building Observation Deck
- American Museum of Natural History
- Top of the Rock Observation Deck
- 9/11 Memorial & Museum
- Statue of Liberty grounds and Ellis Island
- Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises
- Intrepid Museum
- Guggenheim Museum
- Edge Observation Deck
- Whitney Museum of American Art
A worked example
As an illustration, a family of two adults and two children aged 6 to 17 would pay $556 for four CityPASS tickets, plus $8 in fees, so $564 in all. At the regular combined prices CityPASS quotes, the same four people would pay $1,205.10. That's a saving of $641.10, our own sum from CityPASS's figures.
The saving depends on which five you choose. CityPASS's regular price is based on the attractions you'd be most likely to pick, so if you choose cheaper ones, you'll save less. Add up the gate prices of your own five before you buy. CityPASS's child price covers ages 6 to 17, so if you're traveling with younger children, check each attraction's own prices and rules for them before you go.
Who it's for
It's best value if you plan to see at least four or five of the attractions within nine days. If you only want one observation deck and one museum, buying those tickets separately may be cheaper. CityPASS also has a Broadway offer this month, with extra savings on Aladdin tickets during October.
What to do now
- Pick your five: choose the attractions you'd visit anyway.
- Check the dates: your nine days start on your first visit, so plan your busiest days together.
- Buy on CityPASS's own site: avoid unofficial resellers, and check the price includes the $2 fee per ticket.
- Make reservations for any attraction that asks for one.
- Keep the tickets on your phone and check opening hours around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
About CityPASS
CityPASS sold its first ticket booklets in Seattle and San Francisco in 1997, and added New York the following year. It's still a small, family-owned company, based in Victor, Idaho, and now sells passes for cities across North America. Tickets are delivered to your phone, so there's nothing to collect when you arrive.
Your rights when you buy tickets

If you pay by credit card and there's a billing error, such as being charged for tickets you didn't receive, the Fair Credit Billing Act lets you dispute it with your card issuer in writing within 60 days of the statement.
