Primavera Avocados is a family farm in Ventura County, Southern California, that sells its own Hass avocados direct to customers. The family says it has grown avocados since 1979: farmer Paul, who studied fruit science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, runs the orchard with his wife Alice, and their children look after the online direct-to-consumer side.
The shop is small and seasonal. The main product is the Primavera Avocado Box at $43, with a recurring avocado subscription for regular deliveries during the harvest, and a Primavera avocado vase at $62 for growing a pit at home. The family describes its focus as healthy, sustainably grown trees rather than volume.
It suits people who want avocados straight from the grower rather than from a supermarket, or a food gift for someone who goes through a lot of guacamole. Prices are in US dollars. Sales follow the harvest: the 2026 season has finished and the site says the next harvest will be available from March 2027, so boxes and subscriptions may show as sold out until then.
