Fun Fact Co. makes trivia card games and illustrated art prints built around odd, true facts. The games use multiple choice and true/false questions, so younger players and the trivia-shy still have a fighting chance, and the answers are printed upside down at the bottom of each card. Each deck is rated for ages 10 and up, two or more players, and 10-45 minutes of play.

It suits families who want something quick for the dinner table, friends who like a low-pressure game night, and anyone looking for a small gift for a teacher or a trivia fan. The print range adds wall art for classrooms and homes.

What's worth a look

Four card games and two prints from the current range.

The Party Mix I is the bestseller, with questions about animals, humans, death, numbers and space; Party Mix II follows with sports, tech, plants, food and size. With the holidays coming, the Christmas Trivia deck covers traditions from around the world. Would You Rather (From History) works differently: you read a short real story from history, then answer an either-or question about what you would have done. On the walls, the Dragons Across Myth & Legend print is an illustrated guide to 12 dragons from different cultures, starting at $39 for an unframed 12x16 inch print.

The decks are small enough to toss in a bag, which makes them handy for road trips, restaurants and family visits as well as game night. Reviews on the site mention mixed-age groups playing together, with kids asking the grown-ups the hard questions. Beyond games, the print range includes trivia map prints for Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus and an Action Movie Actors print, each available in three sizes (12x16, 18x24 and 24x36 inches) and unframed or in natural, black or white frames, with the price rising by size and frame.

How to save more

• Pair decks: the two-deck discount is automatic, so buying Party Mix I and II together (or one for you and one as a gift) gets the 20% off without a code.
