OOSSXX is a security camera brand that sells direct through its own US store, as well as on Amazon and Walmart. It belongs to Shenzhen Xiankailike Technology Co., Ltd., whose parent company dates back to 1999, and it has a US warehouse in St. Cloud, Florida, plus warehouses in Canada, Japan, Germany and China. The range covers wired PoE systems, Wi-Fi and battery cameras, solar-powered kits, analog HD cameras, NVR and DVR recorders, and the junction boxes and brackets to mount them. It suits homeowners and small businesses who want a complete kit in one box.

What's worth a look

Most products are full systems with cameras and a recorder, and there are a few cheaper single cameras and accessories.

For a hard-wired setup, the 4K PTZ PoE 4-Camera All-in-One System is $299.99. It comes with a monitor and pan-tilt cameras with two-way audio, and the six-camera version with a 10-inch monitor is $389.99. If running cables isn't practical, the solar floodlight camera is $49.99 and runs on a battery charged by its solar panel.

Before you buy, it helps to know the main types. PoE (Power over Ethernet) cameras use one cable for power and video, so they're reliable but need cables run to each spot. Wi-Fi cameras still need power at the camera but send video wirelessly to the recorder. Battery and solar models need no wiring at all. Many OOSSXX kits come with a recorder that has its own screen, so you can watch the cameras without a separate TV. The store also sells NVR and DVR recorders on their own, such as a 10-channel wireless NVR from $99.99. OOSSXX includes a one-year warranty and free technical support, and the support section has downloads for its apps and software.

Current offers

Our listed offer is free standard shipping on US orders of $50 or more, which OOSSXX also shows across its site. Below $50, shipping runs from $4.90 to $19.95 depending on weight. Several systems show an "Enjoy $20 Off Instantly" or "$10 Off" note, and most product pages show a higher crossed-out price next to the current one. There's also a Deals section.

How to save more

• Get your order over $50. Almost any camera system clears it on its own, and a junction box from $11.99 can push a smaller order over the line.
• Choose the system size you need. The solar six-camera kit starts at $379.99, and options with more storage cost more, so price the version you'll actually use.
• Keep your order number handy. Returns for defective, wrong or damaged items must be raised within 30 days, approved first, and sent back with the order number marked on the package.
