Veterans Day 2026 discounts: military discounts at Under Armour and Logitech, and how ID.me and SheerID work

Veterans Day is on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. It's a federal holiday, and it's when a lot of businesses promote their military discounts. Two big brands on our list, Under Armour and Logitech, offer 20% off year-round to verified service members and veterans. When we checked on November 1, we hadn't found a Veterans Day-only sale from any store on our list, so this guide covers the year-round programs and how to use them.

At a glance

• Veterans Day: Wednesday, November 11, 2026, a federal holiday.
• Under Armour: 20% off on UA.com, the UA app and UA Brand House stores, and 10% off at UA Factory House stores, after you verify with ID.me.
• Logitech: 20% off your next purchase after you verify through SheerID. Covers active military, veterans and their families.
• Your ID: the VA's Veteran ID Card, now digital, is made for proving veteran status to get discounts.

Under Armour

Under Armour's military and first responder discount is 20% off on UA.com, the UA app and in UA Brand House stores, and 10% off in UA Factory House stores. Under Armour lists active duty, retirees, veterans, military spouses and military family members as eligible.

Online, you choose to verify with ID.me in your bag or at checkout, then sign in to or create an ID.me account. In store, Under Armour says you can show a valid military ID. Veterans may need another form of ID, such as a Veteran ID Card or a driver's license with a veteran designation. The discount can't be combined with other promo codes or sitewide promotions, and it doesn't apply to gift cards.

Logitech

Logitech gives 20% off for verified students, teachers, medical professionals, first responders and military. Its program page says the military discount covers active military, veterans and their families. You verify through SheerID on Logitech's site and get 20% off your next purchase. Logitech also gives free standard shipping on all orders.

How ID.me and SheerID work

ID.me and SheerID are verification services. Instead of sending a store your discharge papers, you prove your status once with the service, which may check official records or ask you to upload documents. The store then gets a yes or no, not your full file. ID.me keeps an account you can reuse at other stores that use it. GovX is another service used by some brands. Each store decides which one it uses, so go through the link on the store's own site.

Which ID to have ready

The VA lists the types of ID veterans can use to show their status:

• Veteran ID Card (VIC): a digital photo ID the VA says you can use to get veteran discounts at stores, businesses and restaurants, so you don't have to carry discharge papers. All new cards have been digital since September 2022.
• Department of Defense ID card: a Common Access Card or Uniformed Services ID card, which can also be used for discounts.
• Veteran Health Identification Card: for veterans enrolled in VA health care.
• A veteran designation on your driver's license or state ID: available in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Most states ask for a copy of your DD214.

A worked example

A $120 order on UA.com with the 20% military discount comes to $96. The same $120 of clothes in a UA Factory House store, at 10% off, would be $108. At Logitech, 20% off a $99.99 mouse saves $20, so you'd pay $79.99. These are our own sums, before tax.

What to do now

1. Get your ID sorted. If you don't have one, apply for a Veteran ID Card on VA.gov, or ask your state about a veteran designation on your license.
2. Verify before the day. ID.me and SheerID checks can take time if you need to upload documents.
3. Use the store's own link to start verification, never a link in a text or social media message.
4. Compare with sales. Military discounts often can't be combined with other promotions, so check which saves more.
5. Ask in store. Smaller local businesses may have a military discount too, so it's worth asking.

Questions

Do military spouses qualify?

At Under Armour, yes: it lists military spouses and family members. Logitech says its military discount covers families. Other stores vary.

Is my information safe with ID.me or SheerID?

They're widely used by retailers, but only start verification from the store's own website, and never share your login details with anyone who contacts you.

Is Veterans Day the same as Memorial Day?

No. Veterans Day honors everyone who has served. Memorial Day, in May, remembers those who died in service.
