BENI makes handwoven Moroccan rugs from 100% natural wool, made to order at its own weaving and washing studio in Marrakech. Founded in 2018 by Robert Wright and Tiberio Lobo-Navia, it's a fair-trade certified business with collections in different weaves, from plush knotted rugs to light flatweaves, and collaborations such as Flamingo Estate. Many designs start from $930, and sizes and colors can be customized. Swatches are available, and there's a trade program for designers.
BENI ships to the US and internationally, with prices in US dollars for US shoppers; ready-to-ship rugs go out in 7 to 10 business days, while made-to-order lead times vary. Orders are final, so measure carefully.
