About Fiverr
Fiverr is an online marketplace for freelance services. Freelancers list "gigs" with fixed packages and prices, and buyers order them for work such as logo design, writing and translation, video editing, programming and digital marketing. You pay for a defined package, so you know the price before the work starts.
The company was founded by Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger and launched in February 2010. It's headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, and has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker FVRR since 2019.
Alongside the main marketplace, Fiverr runs a Pro tier of hand-picked freelancers, Fiverr Business for companies managing larger freelance teams, an AI-powered Logo Maker, and Fiverr Go, a set of AI tools announced in 2025. Fiverr's own site blocked our automated requests, so we haven't listed its fees, refund rules or payment options here. Its Logo Maker launched in 2020, the same year as Fiverr Business.
