About Tormek
Tormek is a Swedish sharpening company founded in 1973 by engineer Torgny Jansson, best known for its woodworking sharpening systems. This US online shop sells its kitchen knife sharpeners: the Tormek T-1 for home cooks, in several colors, and the T-2 Pro for restaurants and professional chefs, along with accessories, spare parts and Morakniv knives. Both machines let you set an exact edge angle, sharpen with a diamond wheel and finish on a honing wheel.
Orders ship from a warehouse in North Carolina, free on orders of $100 or more to the continental US; Alaska and Hawaii aren't served. Prices are in US dollars, and the machines are made in Lindesberg, Sweden.
