TopUnique Hair makes and sells non-surgical hair replacement: hair systems and toupees for men, men's wigs, and toppers, wigs and extensions for women. The company says its own factory has long supplied other hair brands and salons, and it now sells direct to the public, with a customer service team that has more than ten years of hair-system experience.

It suits people who already wear a hair system and want a direct supplier, and first-timers who are ready to learn a little about bases and attachment. Prices are in US dollars, shipping is worldwide, and the site is in English, German and Spanish.

What's worth a look

The base is the big decision. Thin skin bases like the TUS00, from $159, give a very natural-looking hairline. Lace bases like the TUL03, from $229, are more breathable, and silk bases like the TUK01 are made with an active lifestyle in mind.
