Circular is a smart ring company that has been designing in Paris since 2018. Its current ring, the Circular Ring 2, is a titanium band of about four grams that pairs with an app on iPhone or Android and tracks sleep, activity and heart data. The battery lasts up to eight days, it charges wirelessly in about an hour, and it's water-resistant to 50 m. The selling point is the price model: $349 once, with no mandatory subscription, although some premium features in the app are paid.

It suits people who'd like the kind of tracking a fitness watch offers in something smaller they can wear to bed. Circular states that the ring and its services are not a medical device, so treat the readings as general information.

What's worth a look

The US shop sells the ring and a short list of accessories, all priced in US dollars.

Start with the sizing kit for $5 if you don't know your size. Circular rings come in US sizes 6 to 14 and run about half a size larger than standard, so if you usually wear a 9 you'd choose a 10. You can also order the ring with a sizing kit option: the kit arrives first, you wear the closest size for 24 hours, and Circular then ships the ring in that size.

The Charger Case 2 at $39 is a portable case for charging away from home, and the Circular Sleep Mask is $29. Circular has also announced the Ring 3 series, Ring 3 Pro and Ring 3 Slim, with pre-orders opening in December 2026.
